Appointment of New Chief Executive Officer of Bayard Inc.

Bayard, Inc. today announced that Jean-Marie Montel has replaced Hugues de Foucauld as Chief Executive Officer of Bayard Inc. Mr. Montel is also Chairman of the Board of Bayard Inc., Managing Director of the Bayard Group in Paris, and member of the Executive Board.

In a communication to the employees of Bayard, Jean-Marie Montel said: “We were fortunate to have Hugues de Foucauld at the helm of the company over the last 6.5 years, and we thank him sincerely for the work he has accomplished.”

Mr. Montel continued: At this moment, it is our duty and responsibility to do everything we can to develop our mission of promoting Christian values. We need to quickly adapt our organization, our brands and products, and our practices to the changing Catholic and the broader Christian landscape in the U.S., so that Bayard can continue its growth in new, emerging markets.”
