It is with the heaviest of hearts that we inform you that Mr. Kevin Maguire passed away on May 23, 2019, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Maguire, and sons Timothy, Ryan, and Patrick Maguire.

Kevin has been the heart and soul of Paulist Press for more than 51 years as the Chief Operating Officer. Few people have lived through the evolution of Catholic publishing for such an extended period of time, and no one has contributed more to the success of Paulist Press than Kevin Maguire. His sound judgement, steady demeanor, unparalleled work ethic, and deep concern for the employees of the Press made Kevin Maguire the definition of a servant leader. He worked quietly, behind the scenes, deflecting all praise toward those who worked for him.  He was awarded the Association of Catholic Publishing Outstanding Service Award in 2017.

Kevin was devoted to his wife and family.  He was an avid gardener, and a devoted New York Jet and New York Yankees fan. Kevin was a very compassionate and caring friend to all.  He will be sadly missed.  Please remember him, his wife Debbie, his three sons, and extended family in your prayers.
