RCL Benziger Announces Amy McEntee as New Publisher

RCL Benziger is pleased to announce the promotion of Amy McEntee to the role of Publisher of RCL Benziger. She will assume this position on November 1.

Amy joined RCL Benziger in 2018 in the role of Project Manager. In this role, she helped develop key products for the Catholic marketplace for Family Catechesis, basal development for religious education, and processed each new product through the editorial process. In March of this year, she was promoted to Content Integration Manager. In this role, Amy supervised RCL’s editorial staff, worked on the content integration of resources for print, digital and modular publishing including basal development. She is also a popular webinar presenter on topics including online faith formation and family catechesis.

Amy’s professional career began as high school and middle school English and reading teacher. She began her catechetical ministry as the Coordinator of Religious Education at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor, FL. Since then, she has provided leadership for various parish ministries including children’s faith formation, youth ministry, sacramental preparation, and RCIA. Amy has also worked for the University of Dayton’s Center for Catholic Education and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Office of Evangelization and Catechesis before returning to parish ministry in 2016.

Over the years, Amy has served as a consultant to Catholic publishers, including RCL Benziger and the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops. She has enjoyed membership in many national organizations including In Word and Witness (previously National Conference for Catechetical Leadership) and the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, as well as serving on the USCCB’s National Advisory Team on Young Adult Ministry. She continues to minister as a RCIA catechist at her parish and as a volunteer for Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley.
