Death of Patricia Fischer

With heavy hearts, Pflaum Publishing Group (division of Bayard Inc.) announces the death of Patricia Fischer (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on September 5, 2021 at the age of 94. Pat was the editor and guiding light of CATECHIST magazine for 25 years. Along with her husband Carl, former Pflaum editor-in-chief who passed away earlier this year, Pat was responsible for CATECHIST soon after the Peter Li Education Group purchased the magazine in 1970 through the mid 1990s. Pat had been an editor for the original George Pflaum Company in the 1960s.
