An ACP member is honored with entry into the Hall of Fame because he or she has made a significant and notable contribute to the Catholic book publishing industry at any point in their career. Nominees may be current, past, or retired members of the publishing community. This honor may be given posthumously.

2018 Winner

Dan Mulhall has served in the field of religious education at the parish, diocesan, and national levels for over 36 years. Most recently, he worked as Director of Strategic Markets with RCL Benziger. While there, he played a significant role in the sales, marketing, and training for products including the Family Life program and Echoes of Faith 3.0. Prior to joining RCL Benziger, he spent nine years at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), focused on multicultural catechesis and writing in religious education. During his tenure there, he worked with the bishops on such documents as Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us and the National Director for Catechesis, and served as publisher and editor of the quarterly journal The Living Light for the USCCB Department of Education. Mulhall also worked at the diocesan level in Covington, Kentucky, and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Mulhall is well-known as a gifted presenter and instructor who has the ability to understand complex ideas, simplify the concepts, and share them easily with others.
