CHICAGO (November 2017) – Liturgy Training Publications (LTP), an Agency of the Archdiocese of Chicago and Catholic publisher of liturgical and pastoral resources, announces that Deanna M. Keefe has been named director.

Keefe has been serving as acting director and editorial director since November 2016. She will continue to be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of LTP’s physical and intellectual assets, the management of its financial performance, and the creation and execution of the editorial plan to develop resources and products that fulfill the mission of LTP. These products include books, videos, digital projects, and onsite and virtual training.

“Deanna was of great help and support to Fr. Ron Lewinski and me over the last year,” said Father Peter Wojcik, director, Department of Parish Vitality and Mission, Archdiocese of Chicago. “Her ministry and expertise are a true gift to the archdiocese.”

Deanna has nearly twenty-five years of Catholic publishing experience in marketing, media production, and editorial direction. She started at LTP in 2006 as special marketing projects coordinator and has been promoted several times to positions of increasing responsibility. Before joining LTP, Deanna managed the Newman Bookstore in Washington, DC, and worked at the Paulist Press Book Center in Costa Mesa, California. She also served as a production assistant at South Coast Repertory, a professional theatre company also in Costa Mesa.

Deanna earned a master of arts degree in film studies from Chapman University in Orange, California, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in both theatre and media studies from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
